Walk For Life

If you could save a life, would you do it?  If saving that life meant simply getting out of the house and going for a walk, would you do it then?  We need your support  to help save lives!  It's easy!  Grab a group of friends, family, or coworkers and register a team!  Or, you can just register yourself! You and your church/group can make a difference!

The “Walk for Life” is not a strenuous event.  You can walk at your own pace, and it only lasts an hour or two.  After the walk, enjoy a  picnic for the whole family.  Invite members of your church or group to form teams that can walk together.  Organize a friendly competition to see who can raise the most money.  Try and get organizations or clubs from your church to walk as a team.  You’ll have fun, be raising funds to promote the culture of life, and you’ll get a T-shirt, too!   Have plenty of registration forms to use at your church when promoting this event and encourage everyone to come and have a great time!walk-for-life03_lg.jpg

The “Walk for Life” is generally held in the summer.  More information about the dates and location will be available on the Right to Life of Northeast Ohio website each year.  Currently, Right to Life is working toward a permanent location with several corporate sponsors.  Watch the website for details!

When you and your members decide to walk, we believe more babies will be given life and more people will live out their lives in dignity.  This is all because people cared enough to grab a sponsor form and talk to a few family members and friends.  Lives will be saved just because someone walked a couple of miles with a bunch of friends and turned in a form.  This year could be a year when more hearts are changed than ever before.

All funds raised for this event are to be turned in by the walk participant on the day of the event.  In addition, participants are asked to bring in either a can of formula or a package of diapers that we donate to the area crisis pregnancy centers.
